By recycling coconut husks into charcoal, KGC aims to alleviate poverty, reduce deforestation and provide an alternative to the indiscriminate consumption of wood and charcoal, thereby helping to improve waste management in urban areas and rural.

In collaboration with PSE, a social NGO for child protection. KGC selects its workers from the most vulnerable families in Phnom Penh. Inspired by European labor standards, it ensures a fair wage and educates workers' children thanks to study programs set up by the partner NGO.
